Lil’ Rog strongly believes in the universal effect that music has on our lives, and his inner faith and spirituality makes him a positive and dynamic energy force on the stage. His love of Motown and R&B and the influence of Marvin Gaye and Sam Cooke becomes evident to the listener upon hearing his velvet voice as he takes you on a musical journey of sweet soul music. For Lil’ Rog, it’s all about the party and having fun!
Kevin “Kazual” Collins Lead Singer and Keyboards. Kazual is from Asheville, North Carolina and is the founder of Free Flow. Kazual has performed with bands Point of View and Crystal Blue and his musical influences range from Funkadelic to Earth Wind and Fire, from Blues to Hip-Hop, from Jazz to Soul, and everything in between. Kazual’s keyboard expertise and unmistakable Funk infused vocal ability takes Free Flow on to the next level. Once hearing his voice and uncompromising groove, there is no way to stay off the dance floor.
“LT” “LT” comes to us from Brooklyn, New York and has been a first call guitar player and session artist in Asheville playing with such notable bands as Information Network, Amos Jackson and the Mixx, and Royal Groove. “LT” spent the 90’s performing with long time friend and Trumpeter Steve Walters in the band Hotsauce touring the Southeast. Always in the pocket, always ready to party – that’s the “LT” way.
Darrell “BNote” Griffin Darrell “BNote” Griffin, on bass and vocals, provides the heartbeat of the Free Flow band. His deep pocket bass playing and rich smooth chocolate vocals add a beautiful soul filled color to the Free Flow sound. As a seasoned musician, Darrell is deeply rooted in Jazz and Funk and has played bass for such artists as Expose, Eugene Wilde, Gerald Levert, and Betty Wright. Darrels talents also include music production of the “Just Keepin’ it Real” internet show and is the owner of BNote Multi-Media Service.
